1986 Toyota P/U carburetor

The fuel in the carb. sight glass is not visible. It takes several attempts to start the truck. Could this be a needle/seat or float problem. Thank you for any information.

No, that would not be a needle/seat or float problem. It would most likely be caused by a plugged fuel filter or a fuel pump that was failing.
