Need specific fix for 2002 Tundra rotor/brake issues

Dec 16, 2006 1 Replies

HI all,

After living with the rotor and brake issue for a couple of years, I have decided to replace the entire brake system as seeing this has been beneficial for a lot of owners. Have any of you done this and specifically, will you please share the specific parts you used and have you been happy with them? In doing the research, it looks like Performance Friction pads with Bembro rotors may be a good way to go? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Michael

I have Performance Friction pads and SP Performance slotted rotors, and they are working very well. My feeling is that just a change to any top quality rotor and high performance pad might work as well. As always, be sure the rear brakes are working as they should and that you use your parking brake frequently to readjust the rears (that's their self-adjust mechanism).
