I replaced the bailey channel in one of my windows a few years back. Probably Brazilian or some such as its faded, fallen to bits, generally worn out. In fact in worse condition than the 40 year old original German ones in opposite window. There are a few auto rubber specialists around who sell quite a few totally rubber ( I,m using the term rubber loosely, ie as in not cloth/metal) variations of bailey channel which look like they would fit well. Dimension wise it looks like the metal clips will grab the channel. Anyone tried to fit this type? John
