Eventually got sick of having to replace miserable quality window channel every 2-3 years because the fabric rots away etc etc. Our local rubber supplier had some all rubber ( using the term rubber loosely) channel with the flock lined sections for the window. Fitted perfectly, the base fits into the metal clips that hold the trim tightly . Used a bit of masonite in the groove where window slides with a light hammer to locate it into the clips. I used a few dabs of contact adhesive to hold it straight. Window slides nicely, looks better and doesnt rattle, supplier reckons it should last 10 years. Just got to work out a better seal for the rear door (squareback) now. Supplier of my bits refused to sell the brazilian stuff saying it was c...p. John
