ok i know that superbeetles switched to rack n pinion around 75 or 76 right? ... was it just the supers? or all the beetles? .. considering converting mine to rack ... why? .. well i don't have a reason other then i want to ... so looking at the options ... so far considering using a setup like what is used for sand rails and such ... but will have to fab up brackets and have steering linkage at odd angles ...
anyone have illustrations of how the factory setup the rack on the bugs? ... havent had much luck locating photos of it .. (or of the rack it's self to see if it will work with what i am thinking)
