OT A white day-after-xmas

Was just laying here on the couch enjoying the quiet when I heard a sound that I thought at first was running water. I thought one of the kids was brushing his/her teeth and that it was just the upstairs sink running at first but the sound continued... and then started getting louder... and louder... I got up and looked... Frozen rain coming down pretty hard here. Just started about 5 minutes ago. I let the cat out onto the back porch. He took four or five steps and stopped and turned around and came right back inside. heh heh Wow, it's already covered the ground enough to look pretty. I'm gonna have to go play in this stuff with the kids later. :-)

Make sure to post some pictures. I miss the freezing rain in the south. Makes you wish you still had the LCB to go play after the rain is over doesn't it???

Laying onthe couch when you should be fixing dinner...the pork roast is browned with the onions and in the Dutch oven, so I don't have to do anything except maybe pour out a wee dramie till I put the veggies in a few hours from now.

Powder snow here, maybe an inch...not enough to send the kids out to shovel :)

Fixing dinner at 7:30 in the morning? :-) Actually I took care of that last night. Put the leftover ham bone in the crock pot with some dried beans. Man, that was some good bean soup we had for lunch today.

Parts of Indiana got 24 inches (60 cm) last week. But isn't 40 cm normal for Nova Scotia

Charles in Kanakee. So far we only got a dusting.

Small world, isn't it? I suppose you are down between Gulfport and Biloxi. I've been to both places, but it's been since 1966. . .
