Just a stab in the dark: does your car have _two_ fuseboxes? I am sure one of mine has fuses in two separate locations.
-P.
Actually I see three; one in the engine compartment, one on drivers side dash and one trunk. All fuses are good, I don't know how to check the relays.
Thanks
Steering Wheel Module failed you need to have this part replaced either your local Volvo specialist can do this for you or you can have your local Volvo dealer perform this repair for you . Be advised that this part requires a software download from Volvo to work Glenn K Volvo Certified Technician 2010 ASE Certified Technician 2010
sounds right Glenn. see if they will do another key cheap. (as a do alone, keys are $500, but you will have the Volvo software -- might as well use it.)
Thanks Glenn!
Just to be sure, this will affect the power door lock buttons, power mirror adjusters and power windows also? When I turn off the engine the tail lights stay on for a few minutes as does the air conditioner and light in STC button. Seems like a lot for a steering wheel module to control.
Nearest decent Volvo dealer is 120 miles away so I want to be sure before making the trip. I am assuming it is OK to drive it this way?
Well...today all the buttons work again BUT I have SRS urgent, STC and ABS warnings.
