We have a 1989 volvo 240 DL. No spark at coil - any suggestions?

Are you getting voltage TO the coil (is the "+" side of the coil reading voltage?)? Disconnect the "-" side to test as well. If the points are closed the voltage will show low. from Randy & Valerie __ __ \ \ / / \ \/ / \__/olvo 1993 960
