I have a 1983 240 wagon which runs great except on hard acceleration. It hesitates or accelerates unevenly (feels much like an exhaust leak) but I just had my exhaust done so it is not that. Can someone point me in the right direction of what to check, so I can eliminate possible causes before I take it to a mechanic and pay big bucks. Thanks for your help!
