I've just bought a new ABS front wheel sensor as it was going cheap. Just for the record it has a resistance of 1096 Ohms. I have checked all four of mine on the car and they range from 1100 to 1250 Ohms.
This resitance value can be checked directly from the big black plug on the ABS unit. Refer to Haynes manual for the pin numbers.
