greetings
recently, the wipers started operating when i turn the night lights on, the left indicator turns on the wipers and my headlights have dimmed. Oh. And the clock radio has slowed to a crawl.

I am going to look at it more carefully in the next few days but was wondering if this is a common fault and if therefore i could be spared the potentially frustrating process of tracing the problem.
My first thought is a dodgy switching assembly on the steering column
BTW, it is a right hand drive
