Hi- Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about retrofitting older volvos with a driverside air bag?
I'm guessing it's possible- the latest models had them, right? You'd need a new steering wheel with the air bag- but what else?
Is this folly? I have a 1979 245 that has been in the family since new and has over
350K miles on it (original engine and transmission) and running strong and the safety issue is the only thing keeping me from making it my daily driver (again) and eventually putting my young teenagers at the wheel of this vehicle with a fine family history and immense kharmic capital.
Thanks for your input.
Cheers.
