I have a 2001 V6 All Motion Passat that at 50,000 miles has suddenly developed the following electric quirks. I am looking for a common demoninator here since they all seem to have happened at once.
- Electric fan blows the 40A fuse
- When I put my foot on the brake the instrument lights go on as well as the parking lights.
- The rear center brake light stays lit even if your foot is not on the brake.
- The climate control temperature starts dropping to below zero readings and the heat comes on in the summer. Eventually after a while it gets the temperature right.
Could all these be related? They all seem to be on seperate circuits. Fuses all ok.
I am stumped.
Any insight would be appreciated before I bring it to the dealer.
