Have a 2005 Passat TDI wagon, and am about to bring a 2005 1.8T 4-motion wagon into the fold......
Have noted some separation of the interior fabric-covered trim/strip that runs up the A-pillars and along the upper aspect of the (interior) door frames from the larger/harder trim piece(s) that actually covers the A-pillars, and borders the headliner......
The 4-motion has this at each door, while the TDI only has 1 door involved... pressing on the trim strip temporarily narrows this gap down again..... has anyone else noted this...and if so, any ideas/suggestions for remedy? Both vehicles *are* under warranty, of course.... but interested in knowing is this is a wider problem....
