BODY: The car was repainted a slightly nicer shade of the original Memory Red colour. In addition to the car being repainted, the factory driver side fender with the original antenna was replaced by one that did not have the antenna, so I could mount a roof antenna.
INTERIOR: The interior in the car is in very good condition, bolsters are in great shape. There is one small 1/4" hole in the fabric on the front passenger seat. The interior of the car is from a newer Jetta GL.
ENGINE: The engine is in excellent running condition. This Volkswagen Jetta starts up and seems to have more power than my other VW with less miles. The emission report included in this auction is an example of how well this engine/car has been maintained.
BRAKES: Front brakes have a fair amount of life left on them, and the rear brakes and wheel cylinders have been replaced.
EXHAUST: Currently the car has a muffler from a VR6 without the final tailpipe & tip, it is louder than stock. It sounds like a performance exhaust, oddly enough I've actually had compliments on the sound. Upon the sale of this car, a nice quiet muffler will be installed, unless negotiated into the price.
RIMS/TIRES: The average tread for the tires would be about
70%, some a little more, some a little less. The rims are basically still brand new, they came out of the box about 3 months ago.FOG LIGHTS: The car includes factory fog lights, both are in excellent working order. One of them was recently replaced with a brand new one from the dealer.
