Had an interesting experience driving this morning. Going down the highway at about 60 when I started to notice a weird wobble, then like
2 seconds later I see my tire go flying down the road and my drum hits the ground and starts shooting sparks upwards. I was really lucky to make it to the shoulder without getting hit by any of the traffic, or not cause an accident by making all the cars behind me swerve. Had to walk a couple hundred feet to find the wheel. I just put it back on with 3 bolts, 1 from each tire. Guess I need to find some lugnuts tomorrow. I just don't know how it happened. I did my brakes months ago, and I know I tightened them good. It all happened so fast, it's weird. Now I have those suckers on so tight I'll be cursing myself the next time I have to take a tire off. Luckily, only minor paint damage on the fender, and the drum seems to be ok.- posted
