Posted this before, but no replies. Here goes again:
I've got a 2002 Passat, and the front seats gradually lower on their own from the fully cranked up positions. The mechanism is non-electric manual crank.
Dealer says he can't find anyrthing wrong.
Anyone heard of this...and a fix?

Bob Our '98 Passat reacts exactly the same way. Even had the mechanism replaced under warranty with no change. Seems it is fairly common. Much as I hate to admit it, we have simply accepted it and jack up the seat whenever needed, typically two or three times a week. Jim Piper
