exhaust manifold / header paint

anyone know what paint is good for exhaust manifolds? i need to pain

some ramhorns and want the finish to last. would bbq paint hold up t the heat?? i hear the regular exhaust paints just burn off real quic

Nothing you can buy in a spray can will hold up very long. Just too hot. Ceramic coating will work as will metal spray.

try some por-15. they make header and manifold paint. --

metal spray ? i never heard of that before. is por-15 the only stuf then? i know that eastwood sells the stuff but can you get it fro somewhere else for a decent price?

i was gonna say eastwood as well but those are the only 2 that i know of. por 15 is pricey; but it's good stuff. --
