I have a 1997 chevy G1500 van with a running problem I would like to know what the voltages should be at each terminal on the MAS air flow sensor.
What is the running problem and what codes led you to the MAF? The only voltages you will be able to read are the main feed and ground. The MAF signal is a frequency output.
I have a code p0101 & p0102 that points to the MAS air flow sensor, also it is hard starting when it is warmed up and surges and dies if I excellorate to fast. today i tried to trouble shoot it somemore. I started disconnecting wires at different places on the engine with it running and when I unplugged the wires from the TPS it started performing correctly but the CEL came on and it pings a little. Now I am going to test the TPS to see if it is working properly.I could possibly just have a ground problem. Thanks and I will let you know the results. James
Well today is Sunday and I have tested the TPS as per instructions that I found on the internet. Well as per the instruction it tested A O.K. Now I am back on the Internet to see if any one else has some information that might be helpful. If I unplug it it runs O.K..But the CEL is good and brite If anybody can help it would be greatly appreciated. God Bless you all.JAFRAL
the MAP sensor was bad. I replaced it and everything is working perfectly. I hope this info helps others. Thanks again , James
