98-04 s10: front ends uneven/unlevel

Have others run into the fact that front ends are unlevel on these trucks? Seems as if the right front is higher than left front by about an inch. Rear sides are level/even, so problem seems isolated to the front
only. s

Set the standing height by adjusting the torsion bars.

Shep, evidently all these years come this way. Not so noticeable as from factory; however when front is lower to the ground, such as with BellTech drop-spindles, the discrepancy shows up. BT even sells a spacer for driver's side coil spring to compensate; and same spindles fit like 82-97 years without the spacer. So it again leans toward those later years. Why GM did such?--it sure would be nice to know. Hoping this info may save others some headaches down the road. BTW: Thx for the reply. s

Have seen a number of S/T trucks like this. The 4x4 trucks are easy to fix, but the 2 wheel drive versions are not adjustable. At least, not easily.
