SPAM in the NG.. my imagination

Has there sudenly been an onset of crap filtering into the group lately? Or is it that the settings on my laptop aren't as tight as they are on my desktop...

It may be your ISP; some ISP's manage to cull a lot of spam, while others let all the crap through.

So when do you move into your new home?

We are waiting on financing. We are SUPPOSED to close on Jan 12. Though yesterday a dragon reared her ugly head (Dick's ex aka The Dragonlady, alimony queen) and it may have thrown a cog in the works.

It was T-Shirt weather here today and yesterday, just incredible! I hear we will pay for it soo with some cold and ice.

I agree with the no place to work on cars. Shug is making some REALLY funky noises below and I need to get her up in the air and look at the tranny mount and some of the suspension. Sounds like she is falling apart under there and no way to get under her for now damnit!!!!

Earthstink as it used to be known until recently was a major source of spam. But spam is so out of control none of the major ISP's can afford even the suspicion of a 'pink contract'. (Which is a contract with a spammer where said a**hoel pays the ISP a far higher fee and will sometimes also pay like a bonus based on the number of abuse complaints reaching the ISP. In return the ISP more or less ignores thos complaints for a while) Anything for the almighty buck...
