Spam

I've been reading max power lately, and I've noticed a lot of Spam on their feature cars. The thing is, how do I fit spam to my own motor? Is it a case of just tigersealing the tins to bits of bodywork, or do I actually need to smear my car with Spam then polish it off once it's dried like car wax?
