Clutch issues on 97 Pathfinder

The clutch slave cylinder went out on my 97 Pathfinder about 6,000 mile ago and when I took it to the shop, I asked if I should replace the clutch master cylinder at the same time. (that is usually the recommendation as far as I know) The tech claimed there wasn't any need to do so at that time. Well, the clutch started feeling spongy again and bleeding down so I replaced the master cylinder this time. It didn't solve the problem. There is no fluid leaking at all. Is it possible that the slave cylinder that I already replaced might be leaking down? Possibly just a faulty slave cylinder?

oohhhdave,

It probably is air in the system. The solution would be to bleed it again. There is probably a special procedure for bleeding it. I would say a dealer could do that.
