I just got some details about the upcoming southern IL auction of a closed Giese Studebaker, IHC, & Diamond Reo dealership. Advertising publicity states that the building has not had anyone inside since Mr. Giese, the owner died many years ago. What I found out from a family member is that the owner's grandson has been selling all of the desirable items on ebay for the last few years & all of the good stuff is gone. Plenty of truck axles, driveshafts, old equipment, and other ballast left, though.
