Airhog filters almost free after Fram's rebate

I have never seen a $20 Fram air filter rebate before and thought I would pass it on because it is an amazing deal and the rebate ends on

12/31. Here is a link to the Fram rebate form:

Fram is running a $20 rebate on their premium Air Hog air filters that compete with K&N filters. For some cars & trucks, $20 off means these reuseable filters are nearly free. For example the Air Hog air filter for a 1996 Mustang 3.8L costs $1.79 after rebate. The Air Hog filter for the 1990 Dodge Caravan 2.5L costs $0.79 after rebate. A super reuseable air filter for much less than the cheapest disposable. They are even orange! The prices are from

True. while AFAIK Fram's regular air filters are all right, I don't understand the "Air Hog" concept. Even their advertising is retarded. Obviously people are picking up on this and responding appropriately. I'd rather have a car that really performs well than a truck (?!?!?!?!) that makes the "giant sucking sound" when you step on it with nothing to back it up.

Free? They'd have to PAY me (a lot...) to put one of those things on my engine.

Nice value, Tom (even tho' I/we usually frown on spam). BTW: if you get a comparable deal on KN cold air kits, email me. Altho' I don't use them, I do sell (fill requests for) quite a few. Prolly will have to install one on my driver-truck, just to keep down the backtalk! Thx, s.
