I have a 1999 Cavalier Z24 fully loaded with an electric sunroof. The

I think you should start by trying to get your $350 back from the "qualified GM dealer". You took the car to them to fix. You didn't say, "Change my switch and module". They have the obligation to diagnose and fix. The way I see it you pay another $50 for them to put the sensor in and if that doesn't work they owe you $400 back. Your chances of dealer cooperation are poor though.
