1971 Eldorado - Front or Rear Wheel Drive?

I know the later ones are FWD, but what about the 1971 Eldorado?

Thanks,

-Steve

Toronado was FWD from 1966 until the end (92 if memory serves). Eldorado went FWD in 1967 (1966 Eldo was built on the larger Fleetwood chassis - you ain't seen BIG until you've seen a 66 Edo Convertible - as big as a freight car!).

The Rivera went FWD in 1979, and the Seville in 1980.

The "E" (2-door) and "K" body (4-door) where redesigned for 1986 (went to transverse engine - the previous models used the so-called "North-South" layout) and again in 1992, and the "K" body only again in 1998 (and the DeVille became "K" body that year as well - no longer "C" body as the Buick Park Avenue).

It was FRONT WHEEL DRIVE bases onthe 1966 Olds toronado/Eldorado drive train.
