The four wheel drive won't engage. When I push the switch the light blinks an then goes back to 2 wheel drive. Looks like the transfer case and the front axle both have a solanoid, could they be hung up? Need help. Thanks John

Do this, select 4wd and drive a few feet and then stop truck and put in park and set brake and leave it running. Jack up one front wheel and rotated it. If it turns without turning the drive shaft, you have a bad actuator on front axle. If drive shaft turns then it is a bad actuator on the Tcase.
Do you know if the actuators are the same part number.
No, they are not even the same device.
