Was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to do a one for one swap of the front-end and rear-end on a 1987 GMC 4x4 using the front and rear-end from a 1975 Chevy. pickup? I would like to replace the stock GM 10 bolts (Front & Rear) with a Dana 44 in front and a GM 12 bolt in the rear from the

75 Chevy. truck. Any words of advise would be greatly appreciated Kurt

Everything will bolt right in with the exception of the rear most u joint which is solved by getting the propper u-joint(the yoke on the 12bolt is narrower than the 10bolt(go figure as to why)) and you will have to swap the e-brake cable from the 10bolt into the 12bolt.
