What would cause a 4.3 v6 to when under heavy throttle stutter ?.. but if you accelerate slow it runs fine ?.. I am assuming fuel filter or bad fuel prs regulator.. but thought I would ask the guru's here..

You might start by changing fuel filter as it sounds like it might be starving out some. You could do a fuel pressure check too. Is it a TBI or VorTec 4.3

if its a 1995 or newer the problem is going to be your MAF sensor (mass air flow). if its pre 1995 the problem is most likely your tps (throttle position sensor
