2001 3.2TL Change tray is jammed with a coin

2001 TL. Have a coin caught somewhere behind on within the hinge mechanism of the coin tray (just in front of the gear shift lever). Not allowing the try to fully close. Anyone know how to remove the tray or gain access to the area behind it so as to remove the jamming coin ? . Can not physically see the coin. Thanks...neal

I pulled out the cover below it and fished the coin out w/ a paper clip.
