I like to do my own preventative on my cars whenever possible. I have a 96 A6 with only 40K.
Is the fuel filter necessary/easy to change? On my VW it was a "can" easy to get near the gas tank.
My plugs are also original. Is the plastic cover easy to get off for access? Any tricks to it?
