What's the difference between a normal audi 100 and an audi 100 quattro? Is the quattro a 4 cyl. model of the same vehicle, or merely an upgraded model?

Just curious

Quattro is the Full time 4WD and locking toreson center diff.

Both are 2.3 L 5 cylinder engines rated at about 130 hp. Quattro is geared a bit lower to compensate for the add weight of the 4WD system.
