when I (we) buy white goods, washing machine, fridge, kettle etc I (we) say to myself (ourselves) if this lasts a couple of years then I've (we've) had my (our) monies worth.
now when we buy a car we say its gotta last 5 or maybe 10 years.............
in both cases its nice to have something bright, shiny and new to use and look at.
why...........is it all in the mind.
