Well, do I feel stoooooopid!!!!!!

I subsequently noticed that the rear passenger fan (at rear of centre console) had its dial set to hot, hot, hot. Simply changing this seemed to solve my lil 'ole problem. Now the air in the driver and passenger footwells is coming out nice and chilly
