hi, guys thanks for the help with the alarm now for a different problem!! fuel gauge goes to full and stays there. i,v changed the sender still the same. any help will be greatly recieved also if any one in north wet england has a manual for sale let me know. cheers

I'm not sure if the 5 Series is like the 3 Series in this regard, but the
3's get two fuel level senders. There is one under the driver'side rear seat, and another one that is under the passenger side rear seat. One of the senders is a "stand alone" unit, the other one is part of the fuel pump. (Here in the Colonies, the fuel pump is on the right side, where the passenger sits.)
