The blower motor on my 1989 Chevy S10 Blazer has stopped "blowing". The switches still appear to be working (I can hear the vacuum lines engaging, the a/c compressor coming on, etc.)...and the blower motor did at one point come on for a few minutes before dying again. Is fixing this a do-it-yourself job? Is the blower motor easy to get to access? What should I look for?

It is under the hood and is easy to change. You can put 12 volts to the plug on it to make sure it is a dead blower and not a dead switch. Polarity doesn't matter for a test.
