Is there an easier way of doing this safely without spending 40 bucks on a kit for it? My truck has the central sequential fuel injection and the fuel filter is located on the driver side under the bed. Thanks!

Why do you need to bleed it?
I need to bleed it to change the fuel filter.

Wrap a rag around the filter, with wrenches in place, pan beneath. Crack the fitting open, stand around a bit while it settles.

It'll bleed with you take the line off the filter.
I used to start the truck and pull the fuse for the fuel pump and then let it run till it stalled.
