Broken Sparkplug

I was replacing the spark plugs in my 95 c1500 and one of them broke in half all the is still in the engine is the thread and that side of the electrode any sugestions on how to remove the remaining portion of the plug also i dont really want to take it some where unless it would be cheep.

You can try to use a large easy out, but beware there will more than likely be chips when engaging the easy out in the plug. You might try a little thick bearing grease on the easy out to try and hold the chips.

Have someone hold a vacuum nozzle near the work area. It would prolly be a good idea to make sure that piston is at TDC and you have a skinny piece of tubing to vacuum inside the cylinder too. Mike

Oh but I did it just required a number 5 screw extractor a specialized socket and the socket wrench to go with it oh and some liquid wrench but I got it out replaced it and now my truck works fine.
