Header install

Nov 07, 2004 2 Replies

I have a set of Hedmann headers to install on my 78 4WD with a recently rebuilt 350. I know that I need to adjust the timing and richen the fuel/air mixture. I don't know how much adjustment is needed. Can someone point me in the right direction? The carb is a Holley, not sure of the specifics.

Thanks Mark

A good start is no adjustment.

If it was running fine before the change, you do not need to adjust anything. You should get a little better gas mileage, as your engine is now breathing better.
