Could anyone tell me the easiest way to repair a loose windshield wiper ? the whole blade is loose at the bottom where it pivots. and when it is on it kind of just flops around.

If the stud the arm mounts to isn't striped, a new wiper arm will probably fix the problem. The socket on the arm is soft metal, and they wear, and strip. Designed to do this as it is easier to replace the arm then what it mounts to.
