I believe that the code indicates an EGR valve problem. The truck only has

EGR valve is shot, or EGR ports in intake are clogged. EGR solenoid is also a remote possibility. Seeing as how EGR port cleaning requires taking the intake manifold off, the EGR for yer' truck is around $75 AND 99.9% of the time it's the valve, I'd just throw a new EGR at her. Be sure to use the correct size diaphragm washer with yer' new valve.
To reset the codes after installing the new ERG, pull either battery cable for a minute or two, then reconnect.
