RPM on 2000 when Idling

Jan 12, 2005 1 Replies

I have a 1995 S10 pick up truck, 4.3 engine and the rpm are in 2000 when idling.

Does anybody know what could be causing that?

I changed the Idler Air Control, nothing happened. I was told that If I changed it and I didn't reset the computer I was going to get the same problem, It's that true? If it true how can I reset the computer? Thanks,

Arionardo

Disconnect your (-) battery cable for a few minutes. That should reset your ECM.
