Sorry, squire, but along with Grimly youre making me laugh now - Im sure you dont mean to, but your double standards are breathtaking. I asked a sensible question, of a group who I thought would have some knowledge of such a thing. Serious question, just looking for any sensible observations. Then a couple of people respond with what could at best be described as stupidity, especially the lightweight who decided I was vulgar and unimaginatve, based purely on the fact that I have a personal plate. Now, the way I see it, his opinion is judgemental in the extreme, since he has no idea about me whatsoever. My judgment upon him, on the other hand, is based on his childish comments here. Oddly though, you didnt find anything in his post that was in any way judgemental, but you did in mine. Personally, Ive never come across such a bunch of wankers, even on the unfortunate occasions Ive attended classic car events.I knew some of these newsgroups were a bit antisocial but I really did imagine that such a minority group as classic cars owners would be a bit more welcoming.
