Can anyone identify this car? It was in a stock-car race in France about 1958. Looks like custom coachwork, but is it a Talbot-Lago or a Delahaye?

And, are there any newsgroups specifically for 1930's/1940's cars?

Please post any answers here. Thanks!

This is as close as you'll get.

The door and windscreen shape is very similar to this 1938 Talbot-Lago T
