my first car

I'm sixteen and looking for my first car, I've seen local ads fora '74 and a '79 corvettes priced at $5100 and $5800. In the ad for the74 is says it needs brakes, a rear bumper, and has splits from thesun, the 79 ad doesnt say much but high mileage. I go to school andhave a part time job, not much experience, with that said i ask whatshould i look for when buying? what am I getting into? and is this agood idea?thanks for helpCam

Yeah, it will be fun. I've been working on the design for awhile now. I plan on recreating the Royal Knight decal on the hood the same way they do ghost flames.
