1997 Dodge RAM 4WD w/5.9L 360

Hey All,

I'm a truck newbie, so bear with me. I just bought a 97 dodge ram 1500 AT w/4wd, extended cab. It has the floor based shifter for the 4 wheel drive. Has about 150,000 miles on it. Truck runs great after I dropped in a new radiator, plugs, plug wires. I tried using the shifting today into 4H today for the first time. Truck shifted okay. I then tried to shift it down into neutral, and found myself abruptly stuck there. I tried to shift back into 2H, but the shifter was just floating around, and I was stuck in neutral. A passerby noticed my dilemma and took a look under the truck with them. The bolt that attaches the shifter itself to the transfer case was broken. He manually re-engaged the transfer case into 2H, and I was on my way. I'm having a hard time finding this part online. Does anyone know what part his officially is? (In chilton's its just referred to as 4 wheel drive linkage). I dont think I need a whole new system, I just need to reattach the shifter to the transfer case. Anyone have any advice? Can I just slap a generic bolt in there and hope it holds? I dont plan on really using 4wd in NC, but i'd like it to work all the same. Thanks guys!
