dodge pickup

i have a dode pickup and once you drive the truck for a while and you go to crnk it back up again, it dies. it takes it a while of the rpms up before it stays running. does anyone know what is wrong?

Could you possibly give any less information? How about the Model, year, engine, transmission type?????
