There are no recalls.
BTW, the van has about 128K miles. There are other rust spots starting

Value and price are two different things.
Get an estimate for the repairs, compare that to what you could buy for that amount of money, factor in the expectancy left on the drivetrain. You may find that it makes sense to repair the van and run it another
80k miles.
