2000 Trans am spec.?

Please help me with the specs. on my car. I brought the used from a dealer with only 8700 miles on it but they did not have the spec sheet. The car is a 2000 convertable Ram Air Trans am with the WS6 package. What is my rear end size? real horsepower and torque #'s? Are the heads different on the Ram Air package as to the regular Trans am?( In the 70's Ram Air meant different heads, intake and exhaust) The car sounds great when sitting or driving. When I order or buy speed parts will general LS1 parts do? Or should I only buy parts particular to the Ram Air LS1?(such as MAF sensor and air box) Any info is appreciated. Thanks!! Jetster

Start by going to any GM dealer's parts department. Give them the VIN # and they will give you an option printout.

That will answer the rear end ratio question among other things. Start there. Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 26k orig.
